WO 9245 - Technical Operations/Contracts Manager HVAC - Andover My client are a market leader in the sale and rental of HVAC equipment, specialising within the the supply, installation and on-going Service, Maintenance and Breakdown cover on Chillers, Commercial Gas Boilers and Air Conditioning Units. We are now recruiting for a Technical Operations Manager for their Andover branch. Job Purpose: As Operations Contract Manager you will take responsibility for the Operational running of the Depot managing all Boiler and Chiller jobs from order to completion. You will be responsible for organising all installations, commissioning, service and de-install requirements nationally, leading a team of engineers and producing their daily plan. You will also be accountable for all Warehouse and Transport activity through their responsible managers Job Responsibilities: Plan, organise and manage all Boiler and Chiller project deliveries, collections and installation's to meet the requirements of the business and our customers Take ownership of urgent / reactive jobs and breakdowns on Boiler and Chiller contracts to ensuring that processes are adhered to, delivering on all safe and profitable orders Check all RAMs from an operational view, ensuring stock matches the requirements set out and nothing has been missed to allow for a successful install / de-install Work closely with relevant Sales Managers to ensure customer expectation is managed taking into account all aspects to meet customer demand where possible. Promote teamwork between the sales & operations team embedding a positive attitude using the company culture. Ensure maximum profit is achieved on transport, cross hire, labour & parts requirements Work within agreed company policies & processes being a key leader in ensuring these are followed or escalated if required Drive and support the activity of the transactional products through the Transport Manager and their team of contract supervisors Ensure warehouse and service teams activity matches business and customer requirements through clear communication to your Warehouse Manager and his team Be a key driver in serious about safety by leading from the front, whilst carrying out monthly depot audits to ensure expected standards are being maintained Be a key driver in maximizing utilization of stock ensuring fleet is "good to go" Lead coach and motivate a team of Managers and Engineers to ensure the best level of internal and external customer service is provided Manage performance and development needs of the Operations team on a regular basis. Meet and exceed the requirements of the companies KPI Matrix constantly Carry out any other duties as required.
