Job Description

Simulation Engineer with experience of FEA required in Cambridge for a leading manufacturer. Your new company A leading Cambridge manufacturer is looking for a Simulation Engineer to support on a number of R&D projects. Your new role You will be responsible for developing and validating optical and thermal simulations across a number of automated manufacturing processes, generating predictive simulation tools to provide parameter values for optimal heating during composite manufacture, supporting the innovation team and contributing the several R&D projects including tech development and simulation and physical testing. What you'll need to succeed You will have experience in the simulation of thermal problems using finite element analysis, have a broad knowledge of simulation techniques that could be applied to thermal and mechanical problems, the ability to generate, interpret and disseminate simulation results and being able to use thermal and mechanical materials data for input to simulations.
