Job Description

We have a rare opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer to join our clients busy and expanding Civil Engineering team in Bristol. You will work on a variety of projects to include Hydraulic and network modelling, flood risk & drainage assessment, marine projects, drainage schemes, and waste water and water projects including treatment works, sewer networks, pumping stations and rising mains. Your role will include working on projects from inception to completion. You will be responsible for feasibility studies and options appraisals, outline and detailed design, budget cost estimates, procurement, contract management, Site supervision, and Construction project management in the role of Project Manager under NEC ECC contracts. You will also be expected to liaise with clients, architects, and contractors as required. Our ideal candidate will have a good degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent), be a graduate member of the ICE (Chartered is of course desirable) as well as having experience using AutoCAD, Microdrainage WinDes, PDS, AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS and WINFAP-FEH. They will have excellent knowledge of Eurocodes, specifications for Highway, water & adoption works as well as superb written and verbal communication skills In return, you will receive a competitive salary, contributory pension, health cover and flexible working options.
