Job Description

Senior CAD Technician Salary: £35k to £45k depending on experience + benefits. Location: North Acton, London Full time/Permanent Remarkable Jobs are delighted to be working with an established leading independent entertainment company who provide lighting and rigging hire to an enormous variety of well-known clients across multiple media sectors. Due to the company's growth they now seek a 'Senior CAD Technician' who will play a vital role in promoting our client as an industry leader within the events industry, as well as bringing the ideas and needs of the Directors and Senior Managers to life through creative 2D and 3D drawings. The main responsibilities of the 'Senior CAD Technician' role include: · Creating Rigging Plots, Lighting Plots, Site Plans, Engineering Drawings, Schematics and any other drawings for clients and Project Managers. · Maintenance of the Directory of drawings and providing electronic and hard copies as required. · Creating and maintaining up to date venue and site drawings. · Liaise with external suppliers, including the provision of Cutting files required for Laser and CNC where required. · Attend production meetings to assist Project Managers in interpreting drawings. · Lead and mentor less experienced members of the CAD team, whilst managing own workload and workload of freelancers. The Skills and Experience required for the 'Senior CAD Technician' position: · At least 3 years' experience in a CAD Technician position within a similar industry. · Knowledge and familiarity of music venue layouts (desirable) · An extensive knowledge of rental lighting equipment. · Previous CAD Training or Qualifications. · Experience with Autodesk AutoCAD and Vectorworks · Possess a high level of accuracy, with excellent written and verbal communication skills · Ability to manage your own workload and have a proactive role within a team. · Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines For immediate consideration please apply or contact us on (phone number removed) for more information
