Job Description

Are you based in the Midlands with experience of developing new business within the manufacturing and engineering sector? Are you looking to make a move to a global company who as true market leaders are looking to expand into new areas across the Midlands and South Wales? Do you have prior knowledge of Pumping systems, Valves and Subsea systems? This role will give you an excellent opportunity to develop your career with a strong company who actively promote internally. The company is a well established multi-national who work through a number of different industrial sectors. Due to the current level of business and expansion plans they are looking to recruit a first class Sales Engineer ideally with a heavy exposure to Valves, Pumps and bespoke systems for the Oil & Gas and Heavy Industry sectors. You will have a strong stable career background within new business development and should be comfortable selling at up to C-Level with the manufacturing sector. Key requirements for the Aftermarket Sales Engineer are: Strong demonstrable track record of new business development within the engineering sector Stable career path and major focus on the Industrial and O&G sectors Ability to utilise multiple sales tools and methods to win new business Willingness to travel in the West Midlands, East Midlands and South Wales area Strong reporting and forecasting skills The company is very flexible on the make up of the package in order to attract the best candidates - if you prefer a lower basic but a higher commission structure or vice versa - they will make individual consideration for each candidate
