Job Description

One of our East Midlands based manufacturers are recruiting a Sales Director based in the new East Midlands Gateway Distribution Park. The Role The company have a great reputation within their industry for quality products and service. Reporting directly to the MD your role is to deliver the agreed sales budget for the UK and Europe, within the contract/hospitality industry. The Candidate * Strong leadership, managing a team of eight Area Sales Managers. * Dynamic. You will have proven experience of selling into hotels using your first class communication and negotiation skills. * Strategic; to develop sales policy and help to roll it out amongst the sales team and senior management. * Customer focused; to find out which products are most suitable for each customer and to build and maintain key relationships.Results driven, with P&L sales responsibility, in association with the Finance manager and business analyst. * Proven sales success within the hospitality/contracts industry. Key Responsibilities As Sales Director, you will be assisting the MD in developing an improvement strategy to deliver strong profitable growth and continuous customer service, with the focus being on developing sales of the wider product range across a wider geographical area. You will achieve this by delivering the agreed budget across the UK and Europe using your excellent communication skills to motivate your team around you. You will be working closely with the MD and you will have full autonomy as to how to develop your sales team and the agreed sales strategy.
