One of Scotland's finest and most iconic 5-star hotels and country estates, we are currently seeking a focussed, articulate and qualified Reporting & Project Accountant to join our Finance division. We are open to having a conversation with you around flexible working. Here's a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role: • Preparation of monthly project reports for Ennismore and the project leadership team • Preparation of cash-flow forecasts for all capital investment projects • Preparation of annual statutory accounts, in conjunction with the Commercial Finance Manager, for Gleneagles entities • Preparation and reconciliation of VAT returns for Gleneagles entities • Work with our external advisors to ensure accurate reporting of capital allowances • Collate information, in conjunction with group, to submit quarterly corporation tax payments • Provide financial modelling for projects, covering a range of variables and sensitivities • Ensure all capital expenditure is completed in compliance with proscribed processes • Proactive approach to improving the control environment • Prepare monthly reporting on the Edinburgh project • Ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of all costs and transactions • Act as business partner to the project manager and key stakeholders • Set up accounting processes for the new site • Ensure the project is managed and reported on in line with Ennismore processes The kind of person we're looking for : • Newly qualified accountant or those in the final stages of qualification • Experience of a technical accounting environment • A problem solving mind set. Excellent communicator, able to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial managers • Strong MS Excel skills.
