Company Profile An established leader in advanced manufacturing, multi axis CNC machining, specialising in the subcontract manufacture of prototypes and composite inserts to various industry sectors, predominately F1 & Aerospace. Due to high levels of investment in technology, software and state-of-the-art machine tools, coupled with ongoing investment in the development of a highly skilled and engaged workforce, this has enabled the supply of high quality, complex machined components to a wide customer base from a variety of industry sectors including F1, Motorsport, Aerospace, Military, Medical and many others. This subcontractor of highly precision machined component provides high-quality components of medium to high complexity, including highly complex 5-axis parts. With continued growth and re-investment into new machinery there are now positions available for skilled and experienced Quality Inspectors with CMM experience looking to grow within a successful and expanding business, across various permanent shift patterns. Job Profile As the successful CMM Inspector, you will be alongside a highly skilled team of engineers producing components to tight tolerances for various leading F1 teams as well as other industries, inspecting parts and components for predominately the F1 & Aerospace industries with both Manual and CMM Inspection. Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager and working with equipment such as manual measuring equipment & CMMs, 3 Nikon's and 1 Hexagon machine Duties: * Programming & Operating CMM (PC D-MIS and Cameo software) * Manual Inspection - Micrometres, Verniers, Gauges * Working to +/- 5 microns on tight jobs * Part sizes vary but all parts can be lifted by hand, under 25kg Skills and Experience: * Must have previous Programming and Operating CMM experience (ideal with PC D-MIS and/or Cameo software) * Subcontract machining environment experience would be ideal * Background in Aerospace and/or F1 would be a distinct advantage * Able to read and understand engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances Hours: Weekend Night Shift (3 Nights Friday to Sunday) Week Hrs Hours Days Times Lunch (Unpaid) (phone number removed) Fri > Sun 1800 > 0700 30 Minutes
