Job Description

Are you ready to take on an additional responsibility as a Primary Teacher and become Phase Leader? Do you want to have an impact on the next generation of incoming educators? Would you enjoy mentoring and coaching a new teacher through their new start? If you find yourself saying 'Yes' to the questions above, then this could be the perfect role for you. This is an excellent opportunity to become a Key Stage 2 Phase Leader with responsibility for all Trainee Teacher Placements as well as mentoring a Teacher going through their Induction Year. You will have the full support of the SLT and will be in class for the equivalent of just one day per week. This is ideally to commence in January 2020 but we can wait until April 2020 for the right person. You will need to be a qualified teacher, due to the nature of this role it would not be suitable to apply for this role if you are an NQT or not fully qualified, with QTS in the UK. This is a Local Authority School that is part of a supportive cluster of schools. This is a 'rights respecting' school where every person is expected, encouraged and allowed to voice their opinion - if they have reasonable cause and can explain that. The school is located in the North Kent area and there are excellent transport links as well as a secure car park for drivers. It is easy to get there by Bus, Train and/or Car. This is a Full Time Phase Leader within this Primary School, payment will be according to your Scale Point with TLR. There are excellent education and training opportunities as well as opportunities for development roles in this school. If you are a Qualified Teacher (UK, EU or Commonwealth) and you happen to be available from either January or April 2020, then this could be the perfect role for you. This is an Outstanding Two Form Entry Primary School in Watford. Apply now and I will contact you with the next steps. I am looking forward to hearing from you.
