One of Scotland's finest and most iconic 5-star hotels and country estates, we are currently seeking a warm, professional and well organised Playground Planner to join our Leisure division. We are open to having a conversation with you around flexible working. Here's a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role: • Responsible for planning itineraries for VIP guests staying within the Hotel, with regards to their activities and dining. Building relationships with these guests prior to arrival to ensure that their needs are met throughout their stay. • Enhance the guest experience by building bespoke activity itineraries, for guests who look for unique experiences for example off site half and full day Trout or Salmon Fishing, Deer Stalking, Game Shooting to name just a few. • Meeting new guests every day in the Snug to make further activity and dining bookings. Up selling many activities, maximising revenue. • Handling group activity bookings as requested by Group Sales and Event Teams. • On occasion may be asked to attending client dinners with group sales team to discuss all activities available at the Hotel in order to win business for the Hotel. • Action all emails and correspondence to ensure a prompt and efficient service. • On occasion be available to assist with any special Country pursuit's group events. • Ensure good working knowledge of all activities. • Attend all training that will provide you with the knowledge to practice service standards and procedures. • Be fully aware, practicing service standards and procedures. • Be consistent, greet each guest warmly, taking time to listen and fully understand their needs. • Have a positive attitude and a high standard of attention to detail. • Have the ability to work under pressure, managing your workload well when extremely busy or short staffed. • Personalise the guest experience and go the extra mile to exceed their expectations. • Maintain the accuracy of the database, building guest profiles with the correct information at the time of booking, this will ensure the accuracy of billing and protect the revenue. • Ensure guest confidentiality and security of information at all times. • Take accountability for guest queries/requests/issues by resolving in a positive and timely manner. • Work as a team by helping and supporting each other and celebrating success. • Actively share knowledge and ideas of the Resort.
