Title Maintenance & Electrician Consultant (Fixed Term) Location Estate Department Maintenance Closing 24/11/2019 Maintenance & Electrician Consultant (Fixed Term) We are looking for an experienced Maintenance & Electrician Consultant to support our maintenance across our 470-acre Estate with a broad range of skills, who understands what it is to be part of a busy team. As an experienced engineer or manager, you will understand how our plant and equipment works on our Estate so that our teams are able to offer a five-star experience on a 24/7 basis. Working on a fixed-term contract our Maintenance & Electrician Consultant will be working towards three clear objectives: 1) Create an asset register with supporting service schedules or PPM calendar, 2) Develop a document/manual library for our assets, and Standard Operating Procedures for the Maintenance team members to be able to conduct in-house works, 3) Assist Procurement in the identification of external suppliers required for the servicing, call-outs, and parts supplies. Our Maintenance & Electrician Consultant will be very hands-on and will require you to have an eye for detail as you examine and log the assets. This role will likely suit an experienced person who is now looking for a challenge which uses the knowledge and experience they have built up over time. Beaverbrook is a family friendly employer and is pleased to be able to offer the role of Maintenance & Electrician Consultant as a flexible role with hours to be agreed (e.g. part-time, school hours, condensed hours) and remote working may be possible for part of the project. This role is a fixed term contract with the potential to extend, if you are able to provide ongoing technical and on-site support with servicing and repairs. The Person You will be an experienced M&E Engineer, M&E Manager, Maintenance Manager, or Asset Surveyor with technical competence and experience to identify plant and equipment and its servicing needs and typical faults and fixes. Part of this role is to write procedures and impart information to the team so you must be fluent in English and confident with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Internet Explorer. You must be inquisitive by nature, there are a lot of cupboards and rooms to look in! You must have an eye for detail, spotting assets in each area, but above all you must be a keen problem solver with the patience and motivation to achieve set objectives. Last but definitely not least, you must have great timekeeping skills, and be able to work to a set schedule, delivering works to completion within agreed time frames.
