Fleet Engineer - Gloucester, Ross & Coalway Are you a dynamic fleet maintenance manager looking for the next step in your career? If so we've got a perfect opportunity to lead out growing team at Gloucester and Ross. What we're looking for... Due to company expansion, we're looking for an enthusiastic and experienced people manager in the fleet maintenance sector to oversee our engineering operation at Gloucester and Ross depots. You'll have a good working technical knowledge of large vehicles and also be comfortable motivating and managing up to 40 engineering team members from vehicle cleaners to skilled vehicle technicians. It's most definitely a continuous improvement role, meaning we're looking for someone who's never satisfied with the status quo and is always looking for that next innovation or improvement. Roles & Responsibility... The main focus of the role is to lead a team of engineers, ensuring we put a clean, safe and reliable fleet of almost 100 modern buses on the road day after day. Some of your main areas of responsibility will include- * H&S - upholding H&S standards on site * People - ensuring all team members motivated and engaged in their role. Includes recruitment, training & development and performance management * Quality - upholding the highest standards of vehicle maintenance and servicing including vehicle cleanliness & presentation The role can be complex and challenging at times but also hugely rewarding with lots of variety on a day-to-day basis.
