Job Description

Exciting opportunity for a Field Service Engineer in the Swindon Area with great benefits, including enhanced pension scheme, Private Medical Cover and a Company car. Our client, a world leader in the manufacture of precision measuring equipment, offering a huge range of equipment for quality inspection, calibration and testing equipment, is seeking a Field Service Engineer. As the Field Service Engineer you will be ideally located in the Swindon/Oxfordshire area. HQ for this role is based in Alton, however you will be travelling to Birmingham, Wales and the South of the UK As the Field Service Engineer you will be: • Working in a customer facing role, upholding the company ethos as well as working to their standard • Able to fault-find, diagnose and rectify breakdowns, and keep accurate record of these call outs • Installing VMM (Vision Measurement Machines) to the required standard as well as servicing and calibrating them • Willing to travel to Birmingham, South Wales and the South of England As the Field Service Engineer you will have: • Experience in engineering, ideally from a manufacturing background with a good understanding of electronics and electrical devices • Excellent attention to detail and be willing to work to strict company standards • Strong customer facing and communication skills • A willingness to work independently. • Someone with previous experience in Toolmaking be advantageous Associated Benefits: • Competitive salary • Working hours: Monday- Friday 37.h hours a week • 28 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays • Enhanced company pension scheme • Private Medical cover for you and your close relatives • Company car and expenses covered.
