Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Team Leader (electrical or mechanical) to join one of our on-site teams, based on an industrial site in Northampton. As Team Leader you will oversee the mechanical and electrical project work (including compliance work) carried out by our engineers. Your day to day duties will include: * Resource Management: Direct labour, manage hire equipment, materials ordering and third parties for the cost effective completion of compliance and project work on the site. Ensure purchase orders are raised for all third party costs work by third parties commence. * Ensure all work is carried out within food safe parameters and client systems. * Provide timely feedback to Client and Operational Manager on work in progress and completion. * Attend planning and ad hoc meetings as required to provide feedback and respond to quote requests within required timescales. * Complete Risk Assessments and Method Statements Experience: You must have: * A sound engineering knowledge of installation work within industrial manufacturing environments (ideally both mechanical and electrical) * Excellent interpersonal and written / verbal communication skills are essential * Able to meet multiple task deadlines and demonstrate good attention to detail * Good Health and Safety knowledge and experience. Working Hours: 40 Hours per week, Monday to Friday. Overtime available. We provide a strong health and safety culture and for motivated employees, ample personal development opportunities. Qualifications: You must possess the following: * An engineering qualification, either electrical or mechanical (e.g. City & Guilds / BTEC / NVQ3). * City & Guilds 17th / 18th Edition is essential for Electrically qualified personnel.
