The basics: Electrical Maintenance Engineer 4on 4off Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer Location: Wigan Salary: £38,000-£42,000 + overtime = earnings of £45,000 and upwards achievable 6 Month Fixed Term Contract Shift Pattern: 4on 4off - 2 days, 2 nights 4off with 18 days off in a row at the end of a 7 week period Overtime rates: 1.5Skills required: A strong background within an electrical maintenance role within a manufacturing/industrial/engineering environment or similarKey responsibilities of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer: To maintain service and repair all plant machinery to minimise production down time.The ideal Electrical Maintenance Engineer will have as many of the following in order to strengthen application: Competent reading control circuit/schematic/engineering diagrams Knowledge/experience with Proximity switches Knowledge/experience with DC/AC Drives Knowledge/experience with Working with sensors Knowledge/experience with Control systems Knowledge of safety circuits, Invertors, how relays operate, speed control systems A mechanical engineering understanding would be advantageous - gearboxes, pumps, pneumatics, hydraulics Knowledge of PLC's advantageous Electrically qualified - Must be able to present these at interviewLocation: Wigan Commutable from: Preston, Bolton, Leigh, St Helens and surrounding areas.
