Job Description

Systems Integration specialist seeks a Control Systems Engineer to join a small, friendly and professional engineering team working across a wide range of industry projects including Gas, Oil, Automotive, FMCG (Food), Optical, Water & Sewerage, Waste Recycling & Care and Communication. Utilising various equipment including Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron or Beckhoff PLC systems. Responsibilities: Create custom PLC/SCADA programs, testing and inspecting electrical control systems Design/modification to new and existing electrical control systems utilising AutoCAD for the creation of electrical schematics, bills of materials and the creation of technical files Assist customers with onsite PLC control, AC Inverter, DC Drive and Servo Drives as well as issues with plant equipment Provide a calibration service for on site equipment that utilises PLC control systems and analogue transducers e.g. measuring pressure, flow, speed, torque and temperature. Design and install safety circuitry up to Category 4 including machine guarding, light curtains, safety barriers etc. Site surveying, meeting with customers and creation of quotations within strict customer budgetry guidelines Creation of full functional, design & specification (FDS) for projects The ideal candidate will have previous control systems programming, commissioning and client liaison experience. Availability to travel is required. Located in the South East we are seeking candidates located within and around the following areas: Reading, Bracknell, Slough, Hayes and High Wycombe.
