Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager who will encompass both a strategic and hands-on approach of this particular site. Your main aims will be to achieve the agreed KPI targets and contract specification, at least meeting and/or exceeding those targets. Your key responsibilities are: · Ensure the effective management and execution of Company policies and procedures, which include, but are not limited to: oHealth and Safety and Quality Assurance oCommercial / Financial oHuman Resources. * Liaison and control of site team to confirm they are complying with the Company's policies and procedures, which include, but are not limited to: * Contract Specified Standards and Processes * Health and Safety and Quality Assurance * British Standards and UK codes of practice. * Provision of technical support to the contract whether it be core business or extra project works. * Seek continuous improvement on the delivery of the service to the customer, which includes: * Client liaison and satisfaction * Continuous achievement of contract and business objectives and targets * Man management and motivation Training needs of the Contract personnel * Health, Safety and Security * Financial performance of contract * Establish contract specific local procedures which include emergency and escalation processes, as necessary in the delivery of the service. * Gain new business through the contract, to include, but not limited to: * Additional core business contracts; * Extra project works. * Other duties as directed by the Operations Manager. It is essential that the right candidate has: * HND/HMC qualification in engineering * Experience within a similar managerial position * Relevant business management training It would be a desirable attribute if the candidate has a membership within the Institute of Safety and Health (IOSH) or equivalent
