Are you a current competent CNC Turner? Do you want to work within a first class Research and Development facility where problem solving and machining skills come hand in hand? If so then please read on! Overview: With manufacturing plants located across the UK, the CNC Turner will join the research and development department which will involve a range of machining and true engineering skills. If you want to be involved in problem solving, aid design, aid new development and provide hands on technical support in this machining but true engineering role then this would be an ideal opportunity. The basics: CNC Turner - Monday-Friday Days Role: Permanent Location: Abingdon Salary: £25,000-£32,000 Shift: Mon-Fri Days 37.5hr week - 9am - 5pm Benefits: 33 days, pension up to 6% contribution, health care, death in service, onsite parking The role in brief This will be a technical focused machining based role. You will have scope to CNC Mill, Turn, programme offline, and learn new skills. Small batch work - one offs and not production driven. The ideal CNC Turner will have as many of the following to strengthen application: Time served apprentice trained Competent to edit programmes online at the machine CNC Turning, Manual machining skills beneficial A problem solving mind set to aid new product development Competent with inspection methods - CMM experience would be beneficialLocation: Abingdon Commutable from Faringdon, Wantage, Swindon, Abingdon, Oxford.
