Job Description

My client are a leading designer and manufacturer of special purpose machinery for use in a variety of industries and sectors. Due to continued growth and investment in innovative design and production processes, they are looking to recruit an additional CNC Milling Machinist for their busy workshop. Working within a highly skilled and diverse engineering team, you will produce high quality and varied parts for use in special purpose machinery around the world. You must be able to program, set and operate a CNC machining centre using Fanuc or Heidenhain control systems, producing mainly stainless steel components for the assembly areas. Working to engineering drawings, you will produce the parts as required in a timely manner, and be able to use measuring devices to ensure quality is maintained in line with the company requirements. Preferably apprentice trained, or alternatively in possession of vocational qualifications (HND/C&G), and have at least 3 years experience in a similar role. A background in machining for the special purpose machinery industry is preferred, however machinists from other sectors would be considered. Basic 39hours per week, with overtime available.
