Based in either London or Manchester, as Chief of Staff you will work closely with the members of the Executive Board as a trusted confidant, and represent the Group CEO's interests on a wide variety of strategic initiatives across the business which will better inform the requirements and outputs of the Plc Board. You will act as a conduit with the wider business, reporting, supporting and where necessary leading on projects and programs and act as the link to the CEO. As such, you will build a level of trust with the Group CEO and enable him to focus on larger strategic organisational initiatives. With astute emotional intelligence you will navigate complex situations, driving multiple responsibilities simultaneously while balancing progress on long-term projects with the urgency of immediate operational demands and will also collaborate with others, building strong and sustainable business relationships while interacting with all levels of the organisation. The COS will also provide right hand support to the Group CEO in driving business performance through the delivery of internal / external communications, operational support and interaction with the Board. You will already be operating at an impactful level in either a market leading Management Consultancy, or in a Chief of Staff/ Commercial / Operations / Finance Management role, ideally coupled with experience in a large customer focused, professional services organisation. As a strong influencer you will have proven ability to engage successfully with senior stakeholders and to navigate within varying degrees of ambiguity in a fast-paced environment. You will have a demonstrated ability to organise, coordinate, and direct multiple projects and activities with varied deadlines and spend.
