Job Description

The successful candidate will be looking after Commodities and Ingredients within the Procurement team responsible for factories across EMEA and reporting into the Procurement Manager Commodities. Client Details My client is a global food manufacturer with over 10,000 employees with revenue exceeding £3,000M annually. Description Develop and implement category strategies for a portfolio of ingredients and commodities, using category management tools and processes Develop an annual budget for the categories within portfolio, and demonstrate the fundamentals and technical aspects that support the budget positioning, highlighting risk and identify plans to mitigate Actively participate in, and support, a range of cross-functional project teams which deliver cost, quality & service optimisation's, value improvement and innovation development (NPD) Work across the business functions to ensure that relationships are working as effectively as possible. Actively support the engagement and activities driven from a Global level within EMEA region, ensuring strong stakeholder engagement, meeting participation, project updates and effective communication within Global Procurement organisation Ensure robust day-to-day management of business interfaces e.g. SAP, product supply, markets and S&OP processes.Profile - Procurement knowledge with demonstrable results in managing complex portfolios - Strategic Procurement of ingredients within a food manufacturing environment or commodities - French as a second language would be advantageous Job Offer Competitive Salary & Package
