Assistant Facilities Manager - 6 month contract Are you an experienced Facilities Engineer/Manager who likes to take full ownership for facilities and be the point of contact for the Facilities Services? Do you need to work in a fast-paced environment where no 2 days are the same? Are you regimented when its comes down to good process if so read on..... As an Assistant Facilities Manager you will have the opportunity of for an established engineering manufacturing company based in Royston. They are known for making interesting equipment, having a good project range and get to work with some great people. Although you would be a contractor, you would be treated the same as a Permanent employee. As a Assistant Facilities Manager you will be involved the following; * Be point of contact for facilities issues * Ensure the facilities service is running efficiently * Management with building maintenance and servicing * Management of utilities * Ensure fire safety at all sites including fire alarm testing, management of emergency lighting and appliance inspections and implementation of fire risk assessment recommendations is completed and in good working order. * To ensure buildings and facilities meet statutory health and safety requirements * Manage the Health and Safety of all contractors and site visitors * Be able to prioritise workload.
